WHAT DO YOU DO?

I teach youth trending IT technology like digital marketing, web analytics, website designing with focus on making them lifelong self learners and self reliant. Bringing best industry practices to academics is my forte.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?

I worked for 12 years as a software professional globally in various MNCs. There is huge gap between industry expectations and academics. Transition from industry to academics and sharing experience wih youth, trying to bridge this gap is my way of making a contribtion to the industry and society.

HOW DO/DID YOU TACKLE OBSTACLES?

I believe in handling obstacles head on with good planning and preparation.

Obstacles are there till the time you do not do anything about them. Hard work, determination and persistence can convert obstacles into opportunities.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"

Everyone has the right to follow his or her own dreams. I wish younger me would have been smart enough to ask help from family, friends to follow dreams and make a right balance between family life and professional life.

WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?

Every child is unique. Every student has a unique learning mechanism, STEM/STEAM provides an opportunity to identify and polish this uniqueness. Working on this uniqueness makes the teaching-learning process enjoyable and this is what I love doing.

BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?

Your work should be your signature. I tell my students you need not put your signature to your work. Quality and uniqueness of your output should be a testimony that no one else other than you could have accomplished this task.
