Growing up in a small city in the state of Oklahoma, I was not fortunate and grew up in poverty. I was never discouraged as a young girl because I enjoyed educating myself and growing. So I would read and study and learn what I could about many subjects. Learning brings me joy and because of that, I had always strived for greatness as a younger woman. I didn't have much support and I even got bullied and mistreated by family and peers. I felt alone and wanted to become stronger in many areas throughout my life. If it wasn't for me, it was because I wanted to make a change in the world. I believed in impacting others since I had struggled with being accepted by peers. So as I got older, I decided to give other individuals a voice as I came up and grew in my talents and personal growth. I knew that if i couldn't do that, I wouldn't be able to. I dedicated and have committed myself into an individual who is looking to build along with other brilliant turnovers. It was then, I realized that the best way to grow is to go after the impossible. So understanding this, I went into Computer Systems and Network Systems Administration, which involved maintaining security protocols on switches and routers. I worked to start 2 government contracting companies that focus o. energy and agricultural innovation through new age technology. In addition to all of this, I became a member of the NSBA Leadership council in the taxation committee to give small businesses a voice, as well as to tackle the issues that small businesses face.
