If you have an open mind, curious attitude and pay attention, you will always find something interesting to do.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
I run a company that helps people to realise what they are good at and inspires them to pursue interesting careers in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
When I was at university I realised that even though I had a degree, I didn't know what to do and I decided to run for student union elections. I won and then started working with students. One of them, Ylva, turned out to be a great Psychology student who would always support me when I stressed. She told me about coaching and helped me to manage many of my challenges. We ended up starting a company together that transformed into what I do now.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
I am from a tiny village in Poland and if someone once told me that I would work in Brazil I would not believe it. But I did! I worked in Belo Horizonte, building acceleration programmes for entrepreneurs for a year. It was amazing!
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
Working online and through tech channels let me do what I love from anywhere in the world. Tech changes all the time and it is never boring. I really like learning new, exciting things every day.
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
Keep experimenting with new things all the time and ask yourself what you really enjoy doing. Jobs and tech will keep changing but if you have an open mind, curious attitude and pay attention you will always find something interesting to do.
INSPO / FUN FACT
I love dancing Forró, cooking and watching films like Hidden Figures. I believe it's important to live an interesting life while achieving goals and helping others.
