STEM is now and it's the future.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
I train children on coding, ict, robotics, animations, building of games and apps. I’m a huge supporter of women empowerment and believes that women should showcase their talents at all times and strive to be successful in their career and in other areas in of their life and introducing new innovative ideas to the table. I have been recognized as a Founding Member, Influencer, and Country Leader for WomenTech Network and I am also The Chapter Lead for She Code Africa, Port Harcourt . I have also empowered and united at least 100K women in tech to find their purpose, expand their network excel in their career, and become successful leaders during the Virtual WomenTech Global Confrence 2020.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I graduated as a Petroleum Engineer, i later found out that i have great passion for tech so i changed into tech, i got the Google scholarship with Andela 2019, from there i got informed and then my passion for Tech grew and so ever since then i have ben undergoing different trainings aznd i so glad i did
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
I would have gotten into tech on time, embrace the change and step out of my comfort zone and start learning on time what i was supposed to learn
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
I love working in stem because it is creative, innovative, connects, it is about creating solutions for the environment and making live easy for men.
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
They should get involved in STEM, STEM is now and it's the future
