The only person who can limit you is yourself.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

I am currently learning about the oil industry and hope to make it more sustainable. I take the knowledge from my degree to the start up I run with a few colleagues we hope to change the energy sector in Nigeria

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?

I grew up without light most times. We would use candles to see and read at night, one particular day the candle fell and burnt a part of our home. That was when I knew the serious gap that was phased in the power and energy industry of my country. From that young age I knew something had to be done to improve power generation in my country. Because my countries primary source electricity is gas I studied Petroleum but now I know Better, I hope to
Futher my degree in other clean sources of energy generation

WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"

I have now become a person that people actually ask about the energy sector, I might have plaques in other things but to me this has been the most impactful getting to help people learn about the industry even though I am still a student. Also my work with project 1 million souls a non government organization has made me realize that little impact has gone a long Way in changing lives.

WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?

My greatest motivation working in stem
Is that I am doing something so innovative. Everyday I wake up and get the opportunity to improve the world by innovation. With the hope to one day electrify Nigeria

BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?

.The only person who can limit you is yourself. You can go as high as you want to reach. You gender should never be the reason why you didn’t reach your peak.
