I evaluate a teacher professional development program to investigate the sustainable development of teaching practice. I focus on the development of teacher beliefs because beliefs act as filters for information and guides for action.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I want to make science accessible for all and science education is a good place to start. With my work, I help science teachers to develop their teaching practice.

Choosing educational research doesn‘t limit my career to education and teaching but opens up so many possibilities because my competences are universally applicable.

STEM is so diverse in its approaches, methods and applications. I love working with other people from other fields because unique perspectives synthesize into great ideas.
