WHAT DO YOU DO?
I do research and innovation in the field of industrial automation and digitalization. I enable digital transformation in industrial settings through smart systems engineering architectures, methods and tools.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
Mathematics was my favorite subject ever at school, especially the part in which we had to solve problems! The more complex the problems to solve, the more I fell in love with engineering during my university studies, which I changed from industrial engineering and management, to mechanical engineering and then to systems engineering. I always knew that engineering was the right choice for me, only didn't know which one really suited me.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
I wish younger me would have known that is absolutely possible to live and work abroad, face any kind of challenge and even earn a PhD!
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
I am passionate about technology, innovation and applying creativity in business. I love to look at the big picture of a problem and find innovative solutions that embrace new technologies, new processes and new way of working.
