I lead technical projects and innovations.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I started coding when I was 13, I fell in love with it immediately. Being a girl from Eastern Europe and trying to pursue men dominated field was challenging but I love what I am doing and in the end it was worth it.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
I am from a small country in Eastern Europe, I would have never thought about going to New York and pursuing computer science, but not only I graduated with honor but also was a valedictorian of my class and spoke in front of 10,000 people.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
I love that with code I am able to create a beautiful product . Sometimes that product is being used by hundreds of thousands of people, sometimes it make a difference for other people and that I found beautiful.
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
It is not easy but it is worth it.
