It is not easy but it is worth it.

What do you do?

I lead technical projects and innovations.

Why did you choose this field?

I started coding when I was 13, I fell in love with it immediately. Being a girl from Eastern Europe and trying to pursue men dominated field was challenging but I love what I am doing and in the end it was worth it.

What do you look at and think, "I wish younger me would have known this was possible"?

I am from a small country in Eastern Europe, I would have never thought about going to New York and pursuing computer science, but not only I graduated with honor but also was a valedictorian of my class and spoke in front of 10,000 people.

Why do you love working in STEM?

I love that with code I am able to create a beautiful product . Sometimes that product is being used by hundreds of thousands of people, sometimes it make a difference for other people and that I found beautiful.

Best advice for next generation?

It is not easy but it is worth it.
