Data and AI technical specialist

Think the impossible is possible and show the world what you are capable of.

What do you do?

I work with multiple cross industry clients to help build their data and AI strategy hence leading them to digital disruption.

Why did you choose this field?

I was a school girl when I realized I wanted to work with computers and build those softwares on my PC (didn’t know they were called apps when I was a child). I slowly started learning about programming on my own and went ahead and pursued computer science at university. It was then my interest in data science started building and it grew further when I landed an internship at IBM and got the chance to work on interesting data science projects. Later on, I accepted a full-time role with IBM and started working on something I am already passionate about.

What do you look at and think, "I wish younger me would have known this was possible"?

1. The younger me never thought she would be able to learn data science and programming so throughly that she would build an AI based malware detection software for her college graduation project and it would win the runner prize.
2. The younger me never thought, she would graduate as a top student 👩‍🎓
3. The younger me, never thought she would land a job at a major tech company and that too working on something she is so passionate about.

Why do you love working in STEM?

The reason why I love working in STEM is because of innovation. I love the fact that I can be innovative, and there are so many innovative technologies coming and inspiring the young generation to take up STEM and change the world, and this is something that I always look forward to - changing the world and hoping I’m making a positive difference in someone’s life

Best advice for next generation?

FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS. Think the impossible is possible and show the world what you are capable of.
