WHAT DO YOU DO?

I find ways how we make innovation and technology tangible to people, our clients and the market. I also advise the German Parliament on the use of Artificial Intelligence.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?

I earned a Master's degree in applied mathematics...math was my favorite subject in the final school years, and I also wanted some practical application in addition to all the theory - this is how I finally chose IT as my field.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"

Combining a job in a company with advisory work in politics; leading a global technical community with >800 volunteer IBMers for two years

WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?

STEM in general and IT in particular are so broad and evolve so fast that it's never boring. And working with an innovative and motivated team is very rewarding.
