WHAT DO YOU DO?
My job as a senior designer is to guide the juniors and create visual design and quality deliverables. And I support the DEV team to create the design components and make sure that the output is as per design. My review process is vigorous and I make sure that I haven't left a gap for mistakes.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I was always obsessed with design since my childhood that I had dreamed of becoming a designer or get into the field of design. One of my dreams is to start a design school for those who can't get into the design schools due to circumstances.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
My younger one has always known what I'm today, I never game gave up on myself, as my younger one once dreamed of me getting into IIT, how she had no idea but she knew she will achieve that, and she did somehow. So my younger one always pushed me to achieve my goals in life.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
What wakes me up every day is thinking about what am I going to contribute today to make this world a happier place to live.
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
I would say to the next generation that does not GIVE UP on your dreams, life is not about competition it's about who you are what you want to become, what makes you happy. Nothing is impossible if you have a WILL for it. Life will throw lots of obstacles in your journey but you have to be strong and have to cross them happily. You are the BEST, remember that.
