WHAT DO YOU DO?
I work with small groups of students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. I support their English language needs.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I became a National Geographic Certified Teacher. This course changed the way I teach and the way I think about our world.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
One of my most important achievements was learning English and going to Indiana University after I was married and had a son. Whatever achievements I think are possible, I still have the opportunity to achieve them.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
I love the idea of integrating this four different areas into my teaching and using it as the medium to teach English.
