It takes just drive and determination to be good at it.

What do you do?

I Design technology Solutions for the group. And I manage a team of mostly engineers

Why did you choose this field?

I read petroleum engineering, so engineering wasn't a problem, I had some free time after college and started internship in an IT firm there I fell in love with tech

What do you look at and think, "I wish younger me would have known this was possible"?

Designing and implementing technology solutions for some of the Big financial institutions seemed daunting at first. And younger me thought it was something I'd have to go back to school for. But having drive, studying hard and passion and good bosses too kinda allows you to spew out creative juices and then it just works. When you sign off a completion it comes with satisfaction

Why do you love working in STEM?

I love learning new tech. And how it is being consumed. Seeing how technology solves problems. How the world is evolving. And I look forward to new conversations around that

Best advice for next generation?

It takes just drive and determination to be good at it. And as girls we were born with it. Don't be afraid. Ignore all the boys and just do you

Inspo quote / fun fact / role model

“The imitator is doomed to hopeless mediocrity. Be original and do you.”

NOMINATE a woman in STEM
