What do you do?
I'm a developer advocate who maintains two SDK's: nexmo and Opentok (communications and video API's). As well as engaging with communities, D&I initiatives and promoting best practices in Python. I also create tutorials and interesting articles on all things Python, DevOps culture etc.
Why did you choose this field?
It came naturally after coding my entire life as a hobby!
What do you look at and think, "I wish younger me would have known this was possible"?
Where I am now. I wish I knew there are no limits to what you can learn, create and share with others. Age is never an obstacle. Nor is your gender.
Why do you love working in STEM?
Finding new and exciting ways to help others, elevate and reassure. After 20 years, it still feels like the first day!
Best advice for next generation?
You can do it. Nothing can stop you but yourself!
