WHAT DO YOU DO?
Environmental Scientist specialising in contaminated land and groundwater. Including Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments and Remediation; including desktop research, soil and groundwater sampling techniques, data collection, laboratory analysis, data interpretation, reporting and remediation strategy.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I have always had a keen interest in the environment. Growing up spending most of my time outdoors and amongst nature, I found that my passion lied within the conservation and protection of the environment. To go on to study Environmental Science at University, this lead me through various environmental related fields of work to my current role in the contaminated land field. My current role allows me to work towards the remediation of environmental areas of concern and in-turn better the natural environment.

Having the confidence, knowledge and experience as a Women in STEM to complete a site investigation from beginning to end and to stand up and present findings to a range of client representatives.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
I love the intellectual challenge of working in STEM.
I wake up and look forward to continuing to learn and increase my knowledge.
