Masters student in Media and Communication, Whistling Woods International, TISS.
Constantly expand your knowledge and work on yourself- personally and professionally.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
I have graduated from Fergusson college and my specialisation was psychology. Currently I am pursuing my masters in Media and Communication from Whistling Woods International by TISS. I am aspiring at becoming one of the greatest creative and entrepreneurial minds.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I have always had a keen interest in organisational behaviour, business management and interpersonal relationships along with having a good aesthetic sense and creativity. I look up to a lot of strong women including Michelle Obama, Marie Forleo, Sheryl Sandberg and many more who’ve been a constant source of inspiration.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
There is an intangible achievement of mine which is learning to constantly work on becoming a better version of myself every single day when it comes to maintaining my mental health, to absorb knowledge like a sponge and keep growing professionally and personally. I wish younger me would’ve known that your personality is malleable and your potential is exponential.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
STEM is critical to innovation and in creating a competitive edge in knowledge-intensive economies which is something I would love to work at.
I wake up looking forward to the thought, “ If you don’t go after what you want, you’ve never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer is always no. If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place.”
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
To constantly expand your knowledge and work on yourself- personally and professionally.
