I am a software engineer who uses the power of technology to solve problems and transform lives on a global scale.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?

At age 13, I took a web design elective and was mesmerised at the power of a few simple lines of code to create beautiful web pages. Since then, I believe that computer science is a magic wand - empowering, transformative and a key to the future. I believe that it gives me the tools to solve real-world challenges and impact lives of billions of people across the world.

Getting an admit to the very prestigious and competitive MSc Computer Science program at University of Oxford.

WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?

Working in STEM empowers me and allows me to channelize my creativity and talents to solve problems and even create livelihoods for people all over the world, using a powerful tool of my choice - Computer Science.

BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?

Do not be afraid to have big, bold, audacious dreams. Do not be afraid to do something which has not been done before. Believe in yourself and your abilities and carve out your own path. Seek out mentors and create a guidance and support system at every step of the way.
