My dad (an IT teacher) sparked an interest when I was very young. He taught me to code at 13.

That I could work on medical software in a fairly creative role.

I love that the devices I work on can make a difference in the world. I enjoy working closely with a team of passionate engineers.
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
Be confident and try things out. They might not always go to plan but even mistakes are good for learning and sometimes you end up trying something new that will really inspire you or discover new skills.
