I am a health professional, mentor, single Mum, and academic researcher.

Why did you choose this field?

To try and make a difference to the health of people around the world

What do you look at and think, "I wish younger me would have known this was possible"?

Have the confidence in myself to study medicine and to play close attendation to 'red flags' early in relationships

Why do you love working in STEM?

Supporting women and being a role model for single mums who are amazing and carry so much responsibility that nobody realises

Best advice for next generation?

You can do it - aim high and reach for the stars. Be cautious of people who appear 'too good to be true'
