What do you do?
I am a process-cum-customer service manager and provide pre-publication support to our clients (researchers) across the world. This includes writing, reviewing and submitting their research to suitable journals.
Why did you choose this field?
Honestly, no. I did not plan to work in this field or for this company. After my masters in biomedical science, I decided to pursue a career in the corporate world instead of a PhD.
What do you look at and think, "I wish younger me would have known this was possible"?
Prior knowledge is not a pre-requisite for success.
Why do you love working in STEM?
The thrill of discovering something new everyday.
Best advice for next generation?
Focus on what excites you. Be inquisitive. There are no stupid questions.
