Never give up.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

If something unexpected happens on an aircraft, I'm in charge of getting it investigated and helping to decide what to do about it.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?

I wanted to go to university but didn't know what to study. I read about Aerospace Engineering in a university prospectus and learnt it was all about designing aeroplanes and as I'd always found them fascinating I studied that and then got a job in the industry.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"

Being able to buy a beautiful house in a beautiful area. I never thought I would be able to do that.

WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?

Every day is different, and I'm helping to keep flying as a method of transport safe.

BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?

At school I was told it's easy to change career later in life if you want to, but if you retrain it's difficult to afford when you have bills to pay. So it's important to think carefully and make the right decision now!

INSPO / FUN FACT

Never give up.
