What do you do?
I work in the infrastructure sector and I try to make our infrastructure (railways, airports and other transport hubs) more efficient and reliable.
Why did you choose this field?
I have always been curious about urban development and how cities grow. Studying Civil Engineering helped me to increase my foundation and understating of this subject. Additionally, as I gain experience and get involved in this field I feel more enthusiasm to influence and shape the physical, social and economic infrastructures that power cities growth.
What do you look at and think, "I wish younger me would have known this was possible"?
I feel proud of my international career and I wish I had known earlier all there were so many opportunities out there on my field.
Why do you love working in STEM?
What I love the most about STEM is being a field in constant development and yet with so much to progress and to help shaping a better world. This keeps me motivated to learn more every day.
Best advice for next generation?
Be curious and proactive. The STEM world is changing and is giving you a lot of opportunities to grow and show your value.
