Never stop asking questions, learning, discovering the answer, and exploring new ideas.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

I'm a rocket plumber. I design fluid systems to make sure a fluid(s) gets from point A to point B. Everything between those two points I am responsible for, and get to see them through the full engineering design cycle from concept to flight.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?

I chose this field because it supports the path for human spaceflight, which is something I've been fascinated by for a long time. The idea of potentially exploring new worlds and discovering the unknown is something I'll move mountains for.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"

Tough question... I'm not sure. I'll mull on this one a little more and come back to it.

WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?

I love STEM because everywhere you look, there's a scientific theorem or discovery, a technology it supports, an engineering principle to make it work, or a math problem that defines some aspect of it. I think STEM is awesome because the world we live in is built on it, and it will enable us to do so much more.

BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?

Never stop asking questions, learning, discovering the answer, and exploring new ideas.

INSPO / FUN FACT

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
