Be curious!! We need you to ask questions and want to find the answers!

WHAT DO YOU DO?

I care for patients with all types of sleep disorders, lung disease, and critical care needs. I also have a role in teaching trainees. I am also an early career investigator researching how to best optimize care for patients with overlap of sleep and lung disease.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?

I always knew I wanted to be a physician. A pivotal time in my career was during my medical education fellowship and the phenomenal mentorship I received, specifically from Drs Dana Edelson, Vineet Arora, and Holly Humphrey. They all encouraged me to further pursue my interest in academic pulmonary/critical care/ and sleep, and I am forever grateful for their encouragement and mentorship.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"

Being a mom, researcher, physician, and educator. No one can be perfect at any of them, but you can be good at all of them. Show yourself grace. YOU ARE ENOUGH.

WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?

I look forward to making a difference in the lives of my students and patients
