WHAT DO YOU DO?

I am a chemist who studies biology in computer science department. I develop new antibiotics and run preliminary tests using computers.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?

In high school I met my first real scientist. He was geologist, but was very knowledgeable about other fields to. He was among people who inspired me to become chemist.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"

It is very silly one. A couple of weeks ago I gave an invited talk at MIT. Younger me, that poor kid from Ukraine would have never even imagined this is something possible.
