WHAT DO YOU DO?
I am a Business Intelligence Developer. I help the organisation convert raw data into meaningful information that drives profitable business actions.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
As a child I was surrounded by People who were engineers, My grandpa,father,Uncles,Cousins are all Engineers.By seeing them I was sort of enthusiastic about technology. Later on I was fascinated about how Computers store large amounts of Data. This interest helped me choose the right paths in building a successful career
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
"Always look at things in a broad way". "Always follow your heart". "Be an Allrounder"
I always Topped in both academics and extracurriculars in school,this helped me gain confidence ,which is gonna last for a life time.
While I was pursuing Bachelors of Technology, I dint restrict myself with academics alone. I managed to join a diploma in Technology Entrepreneurship Programme from Indian School of Business,
I was elected as a Director-Professional Development for Rotaract Club of GNITS,I made Robots during my free time, I used to participate in College fests, I am a trained Singer So I used to give stage performances during fests/occassions. I never restricted my energy . I never restricted myself to stick on only with academics. I was always an Allrounder and am gonna be an Allrounder .
To the younger me I always want to tell "Thanks a lot for building this girl Nikhitha so perfectly"
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
I am a technology Enthusiast , I look forward to grow professionally as a proficient Business Intelligence Analyst
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
Always follow your passion, step into STEM if and only if you are really interested. Dont settle down with a STEM job for the sake of family or society or money.
