Women can certainly excel in any field they wish to pursue.

What do you do?

Setting up STEAM Labs, Maker Spaces and Innovation Spaces is my main job. Alongside this, I train facilitators and create STEM based technical contents with new technologies for productive learning in these spaces.

Why did you choose this field?

Passion towards new technologies and impact towards education it has is what made me choose STEM Education field. This role helps me being a technology evangelist and impact the way learning happens in schools, learning spaces as well as informal innovation spaces.

What do you look at and think, "I wish younger me would have known this was possible"?

I wish younger me had opportunity that I'm giving to the children today. They are able to get an outside classroom experience with the STEAM incorporated learning. They are able to see while they learn with new technologies like digital fabrication, VR, AR and many more. I am proud that I belong to this community of STEAM Education Change Enablers.

Why do you love working in STEM?

STEM Education and providing opportunity of tech based learning to the under privileged too is something I am looking forward too. In today's world, it is a luxury to get hands on learning experience in developing countries. I would like to be a change maker in this area.

Best advice for next generation?

There is nothing that is impossible. Women can certainly excel in any field they wish to pursue. Believe in yourself. Always ask and reach out. Keep learning.
