WHAT DO YOU DO?

I lead a team of security analysts, focusing on security research. I am also responsible for the technical closure/ sale of the SAAS based platform that we sell.
I also act as an interface between the sales and the product team of the company.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?

I was into Digital marketing initially and I once had to build a website and that is when I realized the number of security measures that should be taken at every single step.
Coming from an Electronics background, Cyber Security was Greek and Latin to me but it is just the pure interest in the field that led to the drift.

For a person from a family full of Government officials, taking up a role in a startup was not very welcomed in the family. It took time to prove that my choice was right.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"

I at the age of 25, now, am able to handle global clients for one of the most brilliant startups in India.

I have been a part of the Indian Data Security Council and travelled to multiple countries on behalf of Indian security startups.

I also mentor and lead people who have a better experience than me in the field.

At 23 when I started my career I never thought I'd ever be able to do this or even reach this position.

WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?

I love that every day and in every single thing we do, we strive for innovation.

Every day, I am curious about and amazed by the new approach this industry take towards every single problem.

BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?

Just one thing "Girls with dreams become women with vision". Dream big, have a vision and focus just on that.
