WHAT DO YOU DO?
I am a budding Data Scientist interested in leveraging the capabilities of Data Science and AI in Health sector. I love developing innovative ideas that can revolutionize the world
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I always loved to work on my computer even if it was just typing on MS word as a child, it fascinated me. Then going to University I developed interest in tech after attending a women tech makers meetup in my school, I was inspire by the women speakers, I felt if they can do it then I can. So I started out coding afterwards before I finally decided to do data science which i want to use an intersection between tech and health
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
Staying on this path is an achievement for me because a lots of things could have made me give up, I'd tell my younger self to start out earlier and speak up about my interests instead of letting people make decisions for me.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
I love the fact that stem gives opportunities to be creative and innovate. It's a field that challenge you to think critically and be a problem solver. I wake looking forward to analyse data, create stories from data and help others understand data.
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
