WHAT DO YOU DO?
I lead a team of Professionals who get involved with the client, working together to define their Operational Risks in their O&G locations. I motivate people to think out of the box, and even further.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I chose Mechanical engineering when it was almost "men's profession". It was a challenge, and I was determined to go for success. Later on, when I started working in the O&G industry, I realized that I felt a deep passion helping people with their problems in the operations. And there was where everything started.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
I flavored every step at a time. It was good to trust in my instincts, and I appreciated that my closest people trusted me.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
Learning is endless. And that is the flame that keeps the fire burning. When you think you can relax thinking you know almost everything, something new appears in the STEM horizon and kicks the table.
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
Never give up. There's always a way. When nothing seems to be reasonable, follow your instinct. Be confident in you and prepare your strategy.
