I ensure private sector organisations comply with local content policies by providing technical and administrative support for employment, capacity development and procurement online reporting
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I developed strong analytical and problem solving skills even from a young age and that helped me choose a career in information systems. From then on my work experience over the years further led me on the career path I am today.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
I am presently setting up my own company. Ten years ago I was a young graduate looking for employment. Meanwhile I tried my hands at entrepreuship until I could get a stable job.I sometimes wish I had simply continued on as an entrepreneur rather than work for someoneelse.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
I wake up looking forward to me powering on my laptop and starting my day's work. Some days I'm so enthusiastic that I skip breakfast.
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
For every young girl, STEM is now. Every question has an answer in STEM. STEM knowledge is power and you have all it takes and more to become a STEM woman.
