WHAT DO YOU DO?
I am an Associate Professor of Chemistry whereby I teach undergraduate and graduate courses and run a major research laboratory.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
I initially chose because it was a subject that I was familiar with from summer experiences in middle and high school, and it was a necessary path towards medical school or a career as a CEO of a cosmetics company.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
Being able to provide opportunities for others with similar backgrounds as myself growing up.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
It is a space within which we can have a huge impact i n helping others, which is what motivates me everyday.
