WHAT DO YOU DO?
I am an Aerospace Engineer working with M.R.O (maintenance, repair & Overhaul) activities related to Helicopter & Light Combat aircraft Flight Controls.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
From childhood, I have been fascinated by flying objects. With time and a keen interest in mathematics, I took up the subject of aeronautical engineering which introduced me to a new world. Kalpana Chawla & A.P.J Abdul kalam are my role models who inspired me.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
My master's degree in Aerospace Engineering , for which I came away from home to a completely different country & being promoted to a Product Support Manager in 2 years of my work.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
Challenges. STEM creates enthusiasm & spark in me to look forward to new developments.
