WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
In my schooling, I never expected I would become an Engineer.My great inspiration was my parents they were uneducated they have been insulted by the family members for the reason that I am good at studies. I didn’t had any kind of guidance or support while I was studying that really made me feel that I have to achieve something which others valued so I chose Engineering. In my family there is no women in engineering , so I chose to become an Engineer.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
I never thought i would come to UK for my Studies,I 'm the first person in my entire family to come abroad for education and being a women from Indian cultural background I never thought that would happen.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
Working in STEM makes me different from others,it shows others what i'm capable of. I would like to learn more ,as technology innovates we have to move towards it that's how the semiconductor industry works.
I would love to face challenges in my daily task making each day a learning
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
Dream big achieve big ! don’t think less of yourself if others can why you can’t .Women has a greater strength to achieve anything.Women’s have this will power unless we don’t get what we wanted we wouldn’t let them go ,so stick to it. Build your dreams and follow it.
Women has big place in Engineering there is not really lots of women’s into Semiconductor industry ,so take it as a chance to make the changes in the future.
