I design and test spacecraft structures. Since creating my own space company I am in charge of the strategy and carry on the vision and mission of the business.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS FIELD?
Since my 5 years old, Space and astronomy have always brought my attention. My mom used to buy me a kids magazine where I enjoyed every space-related article published there.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT & THINK, "I WISH YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS POSSIBLE?"
I don't have any regret. When I look back I say, "I made every little dream of mine came true". With hard work, patience, and a powerful drive you can make everything you imagine a reality.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN STEM?
I love solving problems. I wake up every morning with a lot of excitement of working in the Space industry overcoming Engineering challenges.
BEST ADVICE FOR NEXT GENERATION?
Find great mentors will help and guide the next generation of girls to pursue STEM careers. You need people to support your back while working toward your professional career. Also, study hard and be prepared to amaze yourself in the STEM fields.
