Shrenik

Shamira has received national and industry-wide recognition for her work promoting diversity in STEM. She is currently an MBA student at Wharton and one of the co-founders of 1MWIS.

Shrenik is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion. He's a management consultant and is now pursuing his MBA at Harvard Business School and one of the co-founders of 1MWIS. 

Sotira Georgiou

Manav Tejani

Sotira is a Senior Structural Engineer and a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers. She is a passionate STEM Ambassador & the Women’s Engineering Society South Coast Cluster Co-ordinator, Vice Chair of WES Early Careers Board & Mentoring Coordinator. She is an enthusiastic 1MWIS volunteer.

Manav is a high school student in India who is interested in pursuing computer science at university. He is passionate about using technology to affect social change and has been a founding 1MWIS member.

Stella Manoli

Elena C. Mata Sanjurjo

Stella is a certified STEM ambassador who believes in equal opportunity & rights to accessing education. She holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical engineering from the University of Sheffield & currently works as a Knowledge Transfer research associate focusing on non-linear materials for quantum applications. She is an enthusiastic 1MWIS volunteer.

Elena is a Computer Engineer, with years of experience leading IT projects & application support areas with a passion to bring more women into STEM careers. She runs a Spanish LinkedIn group: "Mujeres en Stem"  to promote the presence of women in STEM careers globally and is an enthusiastic 1MWIS volunteer.

H. Jaishree Subrahmaniam

With a PhD in Plant ecological genomics, population ecology & evolutionary ecology, Jaishree has c.10 years of experience in scientific research. She has a passion for helping more women enter STEAM fields and has worked with various NGOs in India and internationally.   She is a keen 1MWIS volunteer.

Marta is a Remote Sensing Scientist with an electronic engineering background. She is currently working on European Earth Observation projects for atmospheric purposes. She believes in equality and she is passionate about raising awareness about the gender gap in STEM fields. She is an enthusiastic 1MWIS volunteer.

 

Margaux Masson - Forsythe

Gargi Aggarwal

Margaux is a Machine Learning Engineer. Her current projects focus on the application of AI to lumber grading and has recently served as a Publication Chair for CVPR. She is a strong advocate for women and LGBTQ+ in STEM. She is an enthusiastic 1MWIS volunteer.

Gargi is Host and Founder of "Anukarniya: The role models" Podcast series which is supported by 1MWIS & MENSA. The idea is to encourage next generation girls to pursue careers in STEM and to help them find the path to achieve their goals by providing access to experts in the field. She is an enthusiastic 1MWIS volunteer.

 

Marta Luffarelli

Cristina Cecchetti

Sarah is a Civil Engineer in Transportation & a STEM ambassador. She is an advocate for women and those from an ethnic minority background. She is passionate about equality and empowering other women to pursue a career in STEM & is an enthusiastic 1MWIS volunteer.

Cristina is an Early Stage Researcher & PhD student at Imperial College London. When she is not in the lab, she nourishes her passion for science communication & outreach. She is also a passionate advocate for Women in STEM & mental health in Academia & is an enthusiastic 1MWIS volunteer.

Vrinda Nair

Vrinda is a biotech researcher who specializes in molecular & cancer biology. Apart from her scientific inclination, she is an author-poet of three published books. Her own venture called Letters@Work provides assistance with content writing and designing, and is a keen 1MWIS volunteer.
